The Alliance Public Schools Foundation held its eighth annual "California Dreamin'" wine tasting fund raiser on Sunday, April 13th, at the Alliance Country Club with 175 people in attendance. A Casual beach theme was carried out in the tickets, programs, and table decorations for the evening. Mac's Creek Vineyard, located in Lexington, Nebraska, was the featured winery for the event. Guests enjoyed a silent auction, grand auction, and a wonderful meal provided by the Country Club staff.

Thanks to the generosity of the patrons and corporate sponsors, the Foundation awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to Alliance high School graduates, and plants to award several more scholarships in June, 2008.
